About me

I am a huge renewable energy enthusiast, and my core expertise is on polymer electrolyte membrane fuel cells. I have a track record of both academic and professional excellence with a well-rounded international experience. My work is focused on reducing the cost, optimizing the performance and durability of these fuel cell devices by using cheaper, efficient, and environmentally friendly starting materials. Eventually, the goal is to make them cheap enough that they are not just a green alternative, but a more cost-effective one to the internal combustion engine.

UntitledAAAA.jpg

I am currently a researcher with the HOLDCROFT GROUP, working majorly on the synthesis and solid-state characterization of next-generation hydrocarbon polymers. This further stems into investigations of solid-state electrochemistry in polymeric media, the electrochemistry of gas diffusion electrodes, and fuel cell studies.

MASTERS RESEARCH

UCT.jpg

I graduated with Distinction in the MSc(Eng) Electrical Engineering program, and it was a paradigm-shifting experience. It was here that my love affair with fuel cell research was birthed, and I have loved every minute thereafter. I worked on some cool projects and did some teaching alongside.

OAU.jpg

I began my university education at Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), where I graduated with First Class (Hons) in the BSc Engineering Physics program. It was at OAU that my interest in electrochemistry for sustainable development was piqued after taking a course on physical electronics.
